Poll: Is It Time for Lindsey Graham to Go?
Who is the Senator representing? Trump or South Carolina?
There was a time when many of us who follow Washington politics liked South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham. He was not his predecessor, Strom Thurmond. And Graham was not viewed as a racist. He was a Republican, yes, but, at the time, seemed to be a sane, modern one.
Graham’s toadying for Donald Trump changed attitudes towards Graham, especially because Graham became one of Trump’s champions in the Senate after Trump had repeatedly ridiculed him in 2015 after Graham called him a “jackass.” Trump responded by calling Graham a “lightweight” who was less intelligent than former Texas Governor Rick Perry, who was, in the opinion of many, an idiot.
Trump was so angry with Graham in 2015, that he released Graham’s personal telephone number to the public in the hopes of facilitating MAGA followers into annoying (and, I suspect, worse) him.
A normal person would have broken permanently with Trump, but Lindsey Graham is, well, Lindsey Graham. Throughout most of Trump’s first term in office, he regularly showed up at Trump events, with a brown nose.
After January 6, 2021, Graham partially redeemed himself. The Senator was so upset with the events of the day that he announced from the Senate Floor, “Count me out,” adding “Enough is enough,” indicating he was done with Trump.
Unfortunately, Graham’s divorce from Trump was short lived. And, since American voters returned Trump to the White House, Graham has resulted his brown-nosing.
What do you think about Senator Graham:
This poll will run three days. Vote tallies will be visible throughout this period.
To those that participate in the poll: Special thanks.

I've lived in SC for decades. The negative ways this state has changed correlates closely with the disgusting behavior of Limpsey. Unfortunately, he's probably in his Senate seat for life. Many people here don't vote, & many are just hateful &/or stupid. Truth Matters.
Good Lord, it's been so long that I had forgotten Graham succeeded Strom Thurmond!
I chose "blind loyalty" in response to the first question, although I suspect that he knows what he's doing and he knows that it's wrong but does it anyway because he's a coward.
